Workshop Engineer (Generators)

WB Power Services are currently recruiting for a Generator Workshop Engineer to work out of our Head Office in Heanor, Derbyshire. This is a superb opportunity for a Generator Workshop Engineer to join the business through this rapid period of growth. The business is looking for a driven and motivated Generator Workshop Engineer to support the team through these exciting times.

The Role
Servicing, repairing, and maintaining Diesel generators and their parts.
Stripping down and rebuilding diesel engines and generator components.
Fault diagnosis and rectification of the system.
Supporting work colleagues out on the road using a company vehicle when necessary.
Troubleshooting.
Adherence to the company H&S, environmental and quality management systems.
Accurate recording keeping using the companys bespoke management system.
Working closely internally, to ensure jobs are within budget and on time.

The Person
Experience working with Diesel generators.
Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or 5 years experience with Generators from 20kVa upwards.
Any experience in a workshop engineering position is attractive.
Familiar with electronics & mechanical components (including engines and Alternators).
Be able to understand and complete risk assessments.
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Working to deadlines.
