Shift Fitter

Location: Huddersfield

Reporting to: Engineering Manager

Working hours: 37hrs p/w

Salary: £18.05 p/h (Overtime paid at time and a half)

* Working 4 days on 3 days off!

* shifts are 05:30am - 15:30pm and 13:00 - 23:00

About the role

* Vehicle fault diagnostics, servicing and repairs including MOT preps in accordance with First Bus Standard Engineering Operating Procedures

* To fully comply with all HS&E legislation along with Group Policies

* To fully comply with all relevant Standard Operating Procedures.

* Maintain and develop technical skills as required

* work will cover all depots within the east, working 5 days on 2 days off shifts, with some overtime will be expected.

We'll provide your overalls (PPE) needed to do your job successfully.

About you

* Do you have a minimum Level 3 NVQ standard of equivalent (i.e., City & Guilds Level 1&2) qualification?

* Do you have a flexible approach to working hours?

* An aptitude to develop others within the Engineering Team

* A PCV licence is desirable or show a willingness to obtain PCV licence is essential as we will help you obtain your PCV.

* Experience of working with coaches would be advantageous, but not a necessity.
