Rework Technician

Location: Windsor

Salary: £24,000- £30,000 depending on experience

Full time Permanent

37hrs / week

Mon Thu 07:30 -16.00 (half hour lunch) Fri 07:30-12:30 (no lunch)

Are you a passionate Rework Technician, looking for an exciting new role?

Coulter Elite Resourcing are currently looking for a Rework Technician to work with one of their well-established and very successful Electronics Manufacturing client based in Windsor working as part of their engineering team.

Principle Responsibilities for the Rework Technician:

* Reporting to the department Supervisor you will be required to support production with SMT rework, modifications, hand builds and any other repairs. This includes using re-work equipment, X-Ray & inspection equipment, and soldering irons for fine pitched components.

* Rework requirements range from SMT rework to complex BGA repacement & track repairs. Will match you to the rate / department depending on your rework proficiency.

* Occasionally as a Technician you may be required to work in other areas soldering or assembling production units as needed.

Person specification:

* Competent soldering skills down to 0201 surface mount component size

* Proven experience in SMT rework

* Proven experience in conventional Through Hole rework

* Read and interpret Drawings, Diagrams and Bills of Materials

* Maintain high housekeeping standards

* BGA rework, Track repairs, & Modifications will be a distinct advantage

This is a full time permanent Rework Technician position, offering an annual salary of up to £30k per annum plus company benefits to include a 5 weeks holidays plus bank holidays, long service extra days off, pension contribution and free car parking.
