We are supporting a vibrant secondary school located in North Somerset, and we are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Full-Time Teaching Assistant to support their students.
Position: Full-Time Teaching Assistant
Location: North Somerset, just outside of Bristol
Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
This role is initially for Term 5, with strong probability of extending until the end of the academic year
Responsibilities:
Provide support to teachers in delivering effective classroom instruction.
Assist students in understanding and completing assignments.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Implement behaviour management strategies to promote a conducive learning atmosphere.
Provide one-to-one or small group support as needed.
Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure student progress. Requirements:
Experience working with secondary school students preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to effectively manage student behaviour.
Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with young people.
Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
