CNC MILLER - PROGRAMMER

MAZAK / MAZATROL / FANUC

DOUBLE DAY'S ROLE

NOTTINGHAM

SALARY

£30,000 to £35,000 per annum.
DOUBLE DAYS role - SHIFT PREMIUM @ 1.25 x basic salary.
37.5 hours a week.
WEEK 1 - 06:00am to 14:00pm.
WEEK 2 - 14:00pm to 22:00pm.

JOB SUMMARY

Alecto is recruiting on a great opportunity for our client who are a UK leading Precision Engineering specialist. Manufacturing components for a variation of sectors including Aerospace, Defence and Oil & Gas.

They are currently looking for experienced and skilled CNC Millers with PROGRAMMING abilities using MAZAK / Mazatrol and / or FANUC controls.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

PROGRAMMING, Setting and Operating Mazak and FANUC controlled machines.
Have experience working with 3 / 4 / 5 axis machines.
CMM or manual inspection experience would be beneficial.
To be able to work to strict and tight deadlines to achieve set production times and targets.
Flexible when required to operating more than one machine.
Ensuring compliance with H & S, ensuring all guidelines are followed in accordance with company policy.

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS

Mechanical Apprentice trained or qualified by experience.
Multi axis machining capabilities.
Previous experience in Precision Engineering ideally in Aerospace, Automotive, Motorsport, Oil & Gas or Subcontract machining.
Experience working with high value components or exotic materials.
Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with internal and external parties.
Working knowledge of Quality Standards.
