The below job description will outline this position of: Electrical Design Engineer
Typically, this person will be designing electrical drawing packages containing electrical schematics, panel designs and cable running schedules.
HSB Technicals client is a very established and well-regarded business entity.
Duties and responsibilities of the Electrical Design Engineer:
Follow electrical Design Change Request (DCR) process for specific ranges
Check, update and issue accurate 2D Electrical schematic and panel drawings (AutoCAD)
Development contract specific 2D CAD electrical information for production (AutoCAD)
Work alongside of the Lead Electrical Designer and Wroxham Electrical Manager to achieve required deliverables and deadlines.
Work to existing design standards for the clients Electrical systems.
Work closely with the Electrical, Engineering and Joinery Departments.
Qualifications and requirement for the Electrical Design Engineer:
A design related degree/qualification or equivalent electrical design experience
Experience with marine digital switching systems such as CZone
Experience with marine lighting systems and system integration
In depth knowledge of Marine AC and DC electrical systems, materials and techniques
Strong competency in computer literacy/aptitude using software including but not limited too: AutoCAD, Outlook, Excel and Word
Good knowledge of all phases of electrical installation relating to small craft production
Full UK Driving License
