FJA are working with an innovative and reputable company in the Construction and Passive Fire Protection industry, who are looking to recruit a Training and Installation Technician.
(This role will involve travelling to training or installation locations for several continuous days at a time.)
Key responsibilities as a Training and Installation Technician:
* Responsible for delivering practical installation training both on-site and off-site;
* Surveying all aspects of installation and providing sound technical advice to clients on fire stopping.
* Training records management, such as reporting on attendance, training feedback, change requests, continual improvement.
* Installation of various passive fire protection products on mockup builds, following strict installation instructions and/or technical drawings.
* Provide technical support to customers
* Maintain accurate records of installation and maintenance work
About You:
*
* Previous experience as a Training and Installation Technician
* Have a fantastic attention to detail
* Practical skills for using tools within a construction / engineering environment.
* Experience in installation of passive fire protection and flexible wall systems.
* Good understanding of products used in both active and passive fire protection systems.
* Good level of physical fitness
* Clean driving licence.
