Allstaff Recruitment are currently seeking a Hire Controller/Plant Administrator based in Ampthill for a construction company.

Summary of the Hire Controller/Plant Administrator role

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
Location: Ampthill
Type of Contract: Permanent, Full time
Hours: Monday Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

The role

As the Hire Controller/Plant Administrator your role will involve the following important duties:

Deal with internal hire enquiries, orders and collections.
Liaising with the yard team and sites.
Review live hire reports to ensure the internal plant system is up to date at all times.
Process hire requests.
Ensure suppliers collect the equipment within the agreed time frames.
The experience required

As a successful Hire Controller/Plant Administrator, you will have the following:

Minimum of 1 year of Construction and plant hire experience.
Must have plant equipment and formworks knowledge.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Strong IT skills.
Knowledge of Syrinx preferred.
Attention to detail.
Able to work under pressure.
