A special school in Wakefield is seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant to join their team. The school caters for children and young people aged 12 to 16 years with Autism, Learning Disabilities and Downs Syndrome. They are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join them on a full-time, long-term contract to start as soon as possible until the end of the academic year.
As a Learning Support Assistant, your roles and responsibilities will be:
To work alongside the class Teacher with the day-to-day routine of the class.
To assist the support staff in providing the best care for the students.
To support the students academically with their learning to help them take leaps and strides forward with their education.
