Blackstone Recruitment is working with a family-run chain of pharmacies, providing fast and friendly healthcare across Kent & Sussex. They are looking for a clinical Pharmacist to join their Branch in Chatham.

Working hours: 40 hours

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: Chatham

Salary: Up to £55k

Job Summary:

As a pharmacist, you must be confident in your abilities, commercially astute and thrive on delivering professional and outstanding customer care. Being an excellent team player is essential to succeed, as you will actively mentor and engage with the team to provide outstanding clinical knowledge and relationship-building with internal and external customers.

Essential Candidate Criteria:

* Degree in Pharmacy recognised by GPHC.

* GPCH Registration

* Capable of checking in a 7k+ (min pcm) dispensed item pharmacy

* Experience in capturing & performing 20+ (min, pcm) hypertension service

* Experience in NMS capture & delivery

* Building good relationships with GP in order to develop the CPCS capability for the pharmacy

* Clinical focus - we are expecting to automate original pack dispensing from our hub by Q1-Q2 2024 - post automation the Pharmacist will be expected to complete a clinical check prior to dispensing, acute dispensing but majority of time will then we taken up with the new clinical services announced by the Dept of Health. Albeit we do not know much about these services in terms of operational / clinical processes & training therein we are expecting to make this transition for all our pharmacies
