Job Summary: As a Contracts Manager/Estimator, you will play a vital role in overseeing and coordinating all aspects of our commercial maintenance projects. Your primary responsibilities will include estimating project costs, preparing proposals, managing contracts, and ensuring the successful execution of maintenance services for our esteemed clients. You will work closely with our team of professionals to deliver efficient and cost-effective solutions that exceed our clients' expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Utilise your expertise in commercial maintenance to accurately estimate project costs and develop competitive proposals for various contracts.
* Lead the bidding process, analysing project requirements, and preparing comprehensive tender submissions.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and project management, to ensure seamless project execution and adherence to timelines.
* Negotiate and finalize contracts, ensuring that all legal and financial requirements are met and that projects are commercially viable.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to enhance our network and secure repeat business opportunities.
* Monitor project progress, budgetary compliance, and quality assurance, making adjustments as necessary to meet project objectives.
* Implement best practices for commercial maintenance, continually improving processes to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
* Proven track record of at least X years in a Contracts Manager/Estimator role with a focus on commercial maintenance projects.
* Demonstrated ability to accurately estimate project costs and prepare detailed proposals.
* Strong understanding of building systems, facility maintenance requirements, and associated regulations.
* Proficiency in project management tools and software.
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, enabling you to resolve complex issues efficiently.
* Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
* Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving targets and delivering quality outcomes.
