I am currently working with a local authority based in Dorset which is looking for a Telecare and Out Of Hours Operator to be a part of their Housing team.
The main responsibilities you will have as an Operator are as follows:
* To provide a professional and effective response to calls from Lifeline alarm calls, customers and the public from the 24-hour Control Centre
* To carry out emergency visits to clients, to check and support their Health and well-being.
* To ensure the integrity, accuracy and confidentiality of all information. As well as meeting the objectives laid out through BCPs Codes of Practice, Policies and Procedures.
* This role will be conducted of 12 hour Shifts working 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am. Across 7 days per week, it will be 37 hours per week. No more then working three days per week
The main experiences and skills which are desirable are as follows:
* Calls handling experience
* Experience of providing excellent customer service, face to face and via the telephone
* Full valid UK driving licence (Pool of cars available for community-based working)
This role is a three-month temporary position, paying £15.81 LTD Rate per hour.
