We are working with a vibrant and popular mexican bar located in Watford. They take pride in offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere, top-notch service, and a diverse range of beverages. As they continue to grow, they are looking for enthusiastic and skilled Bar Staff to join their dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
* Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
* Take and prepare drink orders accurately and efficiently.
* Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
* Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale system.
* Upsell and promote special offers or events to enhance the customer experience.
* Monitor and manage inventory levels, restocking as necessary.
* Collaborate with kitchen and serving staff to ensure seamless communication and service.
* Follow licensing regulations and uphold responsible service of alcohol.
* Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively.
* Contribute to a positive team atmosphere and work collaboratively with colleagues.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
* Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
* Knowledge of various beverages, cocktails, and drink preparation techniques.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations with a calm demeanor.
* Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing inventory.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
* A friendly and outgoing personality with a passion for delivering excellent customer experiences.
* Compliance with legal age requirements for serving alcohol.
