The Company
A well established manufacturer of high quality precision aerospace machined components are looking for an experienced Quality Inspector with CMM programming experience to join their team. The company provide precision parts to a wide range of industries including aerospace and F1 in their modern state of the art machining facility.

The role of a Quality inspector / CMM Programmer
As a successful quality inspector, you will be required to inspect precision engineered components.

Duties of a Quality inspector / CMM Programmer

* First off inspection and final inspection in a subcontract machining environment

* Using inspection measurement equipment such as Micrometres, Verniers, Gauges

* First article inspection reporting

* CMM Programming - Mitutoyo or PC-DMIS

Requirements of a Quality inspector / CMM Programmer
CMM Programming - Mitutoyo or PC-DMIS

* Experience using inspection measurement equipment

* A knowledge of inspection measurement equipment.

* Good understanding of AS9100 and ISO 9001 requirements

* First article inspection reporting

* Root cause analysis and resolution, including rework of parts.

* Ability to work on own initiative and with minimum supervision.

* Good communications and computer literacy.

* Working knowledge of Excel

* Subcontract machining environment experience

Hours of Work - Quality Inspector / CMM Programmer
Monday - Thursday 08.00pm - 16.30am
Friday 08.00pm - 12:30pm

Salary - Quality Inspector / CMM Programmer
£40,000 - £45,000 Per Year
