Our client is one of the UK's leading sign makers, they have a wealth of experience in producing world class signage for a wide variety of sectors particularly hospitality, travel and transportation, retail, leisure and international events.

Due to their continued growth they are on the lookout for an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join their production team.

Working within an innovative signage business, you will be carrying out a high-paced, challenging, and demanding role, where the ability to work within and outside of a team is essential.

Hours of work :

Monday - Thursday 07:00am-16:00pm

Friday 07:00am-15:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

To review engineering drawings for parts to be fabricated/welded

Welding/plating

Fabricate sheet metal

Ensure tolerances and parameters are met to satisfy quality and output

Use of Management system

Ensure correct marking up of component parts

Support the Production Manager with Quality Checks and obtain sign off

Cooperate in accordance with the provided RAMs and complete Dynamic Risk assessments as and when required.

Essential Skills / Experience:

Coded Welder desirable

Experience in a similar role within the signage industry.

The ability to read and understand manufacturing/ engineering drawings.

Proficient in Google Applications (i.e.) Gmail, Google Drive, etc

Flexibility

Qualified welder or semi-skilled welder in MIG; TIG

Sheet metal skills

Folding press.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £14.50 per hour

MIG welding: 1 year (preferred)

Fabrication: 2 years (required)
