Vertical Recruitment are working closely with an award-winning civil and structural engineering consultancy with a national presence. Due to winning a Government Framework, they have an immediate need for several individuals in the transportation sector, including a Traffic Engineer.
Role:
Secondment of a suitably degree-qualified (or time-served) Traffic Engineer with experience of designing and implementing minor Road Safety schemes.
Seconded to be based in Stockport in a hybrid working arrangement to mirror the Network Management teams working pattern (minimum two days per week).
Workstreams will be principally (but not exclusively):
* Providing TRO processing support for schemes within the councils 24/25 capital programme.
* Providing assessment of existing moving traffic regulation orders, producing the related technical reports.
* Design and implementation of the 24/25 Road Safety around Schools programme.
They're hiring for both:
Senior Consultant: Significant technical knowledge relating to their chosen discipline at least 10 years' experience within their specialist field and taking a lead role within their organisation across a particular technical field· Significant consulting experience at least 5-10 years in industry (post-graduate)
Consultant: In depth technical knowledge relating to their chosen discipline at least 5 years' experience within their specialist field· Previous consulting experience at least 3-5 years in industry (post-graduate)
