Elvet Recruitment are recruiting for a Civil Site Engineer on behalf of a reputable civil engineering / highways principal contractor to work on projects in Lincolnshire & East Midlands area.

The Contractor...

A part of a reputable £10 billion turnover tier 1 civil engineering contractor with an international presence & brand. They have created a reputation across Europe and UK and even had influence further afield on occasion.

This division of company operate more as a 'regional main contractor unit' meaning a tight-knit and supportive team network (£200m turnover across North England). This role will be regional due to long-standing framework success with 'Midlands Highways Alliance' and more. Project values: up to £30m.

Projects covering: highways construction/infrastructure, public realm, streetworks, s278, kerbing, general civils, drainage and structures etc.

Support & processes of a Tier 1, leaner progression model than most, strong secured workload - what more could you want?

Duties include...

* Setting out & surveying - using relevant kit

* Delivering as-builts

* Inspection Test Plans (ITP's)

* Quality Assurance

* Involvement in Construction Phase Plans & lookaheads

* Use of IT Management Systems

* Quality control

* Management of sub-contractors & DLO

* Deal with permits and documentation for site

Experience required...

* Should have experience at Site Engineer with a main contractor on civil engineering / highways projects.

* Must be fully competent with working as PC and adept with documentation and site engineering processes.

* Industry related qualification is beneficial (HNC/HND or Degree).

* Must hold: CSCS card and full driving license.

* Any qualifications such as SMSTS, Temp Works etc. are beneficial.

Remuneration:

A salary of up to £47,000 (dependant upon experience) plus:
company car or allowance, fuel, increased annual leave, life insurance, 8% pension scheme and more.
