Sales Manager Energy Solutions
Salehurst, East Sussex
£50,000 - £70,000 + Car Allowance + Uncapped Commission
Our client is looking for an experienced Sales Manager / Senior Sales Engineer with a knowledge in selling capital products such as Steam Turbines & Electrical Generators. This role is developmental and the ideal candidate should be capable of developing to a director level.
Your purpose will be to achieve the business plan through the development of a highly skilled and productive sales force and supporting the marketing function helping to drive and measure business growth.
Our goal is that the successful candidate will build and manage a small team of salespeople to maximise our market share.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Graduate Mechanical Engineer / equivalent (an alternative degree will also be considered).
* Professional Salesperson / Sales Engineer.
* At least five years field sales experience (lesser experience will be considered for an exceptional candidate).
* Very familiar with Steam Turbines and Electrical Generators.
* Willing to travel expensively throughout the UK, Western Europe and Scandinavia (this may involve long periods away from home).
* Extensive experience of selling capital products and services.
* Capable of building and managing a small sales team.
* Exceptional listener and communicator.
* Highly adaptive.
* Articulate.
* Highly motivated and ambitious.
* Capable of developing to Director level.
