I'm selling my 2006 Saab 95 Aero HOT.
Black, 256 HP, 122k miles, MOT until 25th Jan 2024.

I have owned the car since February 2016 from 78k miles.
It's now done 122k so I've put around 6k miles on it a year.
I'm a firm believer in regular oil changes so I've changed it myself every year at way less than the recommended interval to keep the engine and turbo in good condition.
- Annual Mobil 1 engine oil and filter change.
- Annual 3 litres of transmission fluid change.
Spark plugs, fuel filter, air filter and cabin filter changed less frequently.

The leather seats are in good condition.
The engine is powerful and responsive.
Electric windows all round are good.
The power steering is tight and smooth with a nice weight to it.

I'm fortunate enough to have a local Saab Master Technician in Caerphilly so any complex work has been carried out by him.

What I've had done to it.
2023
- 4 x new Michelin tires.
- Head gasket replaced, new manifold gaskets and other components in the head.
- Automatic transmission cooling pipes replaced.
2021
- New Saab stainless steel exhaust system. Should be good to 200k miles
- Power steering pipes replaced.

Previously
- Direct Injection Cartridge replaced.
- Cam cover gaskets replaced.
- New front brake discs fitted.
- New front ABS rings fitted.
- Trailing arm bushes replaced with polypropylene bushes.
- Foam type hoses replaced with silicon hoses.

Since the cooler pipes were replaced there are no further oil spots on the drive so that's all good.

What doesn't work
- air con hasn't worked for years. Had it re-gassed a few years back but it stopped working again after a few days so it has a leak.
- electric door mirrors haven't worked since I've had it so i guess they were hit / broken at some point in its life.

I thought when I was taking the photos that the engine bay could do with a bit of a clean. A few oily marks since the head gasket was replaced.

Lots and lots of receipts included.
I think that covers it. £1,700 spent on it this year. I've looked after the car and it's ready for its next owner. Over to you!

I use it one day a week to prevent it sitting idle so the mileage will increase.
