We are looking for an Electrical Project Engineer to join our busy Engineering team at Head Office, Maidenhead Berkshire.

You will be responsible for the design of electrical packages on UPS and Generator projects ensuring compliance with both project specifications and industry standards. Assist in the development and improvement of engineering processes and best practices, and supports the business development group.

* Provide up front technical support to the Sales department on the specification and design of Generator/UPS systems, specifically focussing on electrical packages.

* Take responsibility for the specification & design of electrical packages on UPS & Generator projects from project handover to completion, providing technical support throughout.

* Assist project managers with generation of project specific method statements and risk assessments in accordance with project specifications

As an Electrical Project Engineer you will need to have:

* An HNC Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 2-5 years experience working on electrical packages.

* Ability to generate technical design documentation including drawings, technical data sheets, control philosophies, cable schedules & cable calculations.

* A solid and robust understanding of LV & MV switchboards and their safe operation.

* Have excellent clear and concise communication skills, with the ability to negotiate professionally and calmly in high pressurised situations.
