A high achieving school in East Manchester is seeking an Science Teacher to teach across KS3 and KS4 level. The school is oversubscribed and well regarded in the local area. This is a maternity cover role, which will start in April 2024 and will continue for the term.
The leadership team are well established and have a clear and realistic vision of where the school is going. The Science department are supportive and happy to welcome either a newly qualified or experienced teacher. This is a good opportunity to work in a successful, vibrant school with a supportive ethos, good staff morale and strong ties to the community.
The leadership team are seeking a Science Teacher with the ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons to pupils to GCSE level, schemes of work and resources will be provided. Behaviour is good and are supportive.
Specific qualifications are of a lesser importance therefore the leadership team are happy to consider FE and overseas qualified candidates as well as NQTs and experienced teachers with QTS.
Role:
* Starting April 2024 until July 2024 (1 Term).
* Full time. Monday to Friday.
* Long-term role covering sickness.
* Teaching Science at GCSE level.
* Previous teaching experience in subject required.
* DBS on the update service.
