We are recruiting a KS3 and KS4 Business Studies Teacher for a vibrant 11-16 academy school in Rochdale. This is a temporary position starting in January 2024.

This is a new academy school that has excellent facilities and a supportive leadership team. This is an exciting school to work in as they are always at the forefront of trying new initiatives.

School

* Good travel links; easily accessible by car or on public transport.

Business Studies Department

* Very friendly, welcoming department team.

* Strong SLT link in the department.

* Strong HOD.

* Support available.

* Wealth of resources available.

Pupils

* Years 7- 11.

* A range of abilities, including SEN.

* Some low-level challenging behaviour.

* Behaviour is improving under a dedicated behaviour team.

Role of the Business Studies Teacher

* Starting January 2024.

* Temporary position, could extend to a permanent post.

* Teaching across KS3 and KS4.

* Teaching Computer Science as a second subject would be an advantage.

Ideal Business Studies Teacher

* Good at building relationships.

* Engaging and interactive.

* Patient with a range of approaches to teaching.

* Previous experience of teaching KS3 and KS4 Science at secondary level is essential.
