Purpose of our company
Our company delivers excellent Personal Development Karate programmes to help our students develop improved Focus, Respect, Discipline, Self-control, Perseverance, Grit - the list is endless. Students that enrol into our programmes are learning to be better versions of themselves. Our company is NOT a Karate 'club', we are a Martial Arts School.
Purpose of the candidate's role in our business
The candidate will be a big part in delivering Karate lessons and contributing to the running and growth of our well-established Martial Arts School. They will deliver lessons in the evenings and on Saturdays. They will contribute to enrolments and renewals.

We imagine the successful candidate to have a positive attitude and reflect the values we teach; determined, disciplined, respectful, etc. The candidate will number 1 have a good work ethic. They will generally be a nice person who is honest and reliable. The candidate does not need to be a karate world champion with a good competition record. We are not looking for that type of team member, the candidate we are looking for will be a Black Belt in Karate but will have a good attitude. The candidate who see the true value of our programmes will fit into our team. The successful candidate may have a good CV but the biggest selling point to us is a good character. They will have basic IT skills and be willing to learn our company systems.
Main Duties:
Teaching consultations and lessons
Dealing with client enquiries, being confident on the phone, answering phones, making bookings, setting appointments, dealing with customer service issues
To offer Impeccable Client care. Where we go the extra mile and to go 'above and beyond' to deliver high quality results on time.
Provide and undertake administrative and sales responsibilities as and when required in order to ensure the operations of the company run smoothly.
Specifics;
This position is required to start asap
The candidate will be a Black Belt in Karate
The hours of work will be 32-40 hours per week, (evenings and Saturdays, please see below) (pleasedo not apply if you do not want to work afternoons-evenings and Saturdays)
The following are starter salaries for the first three months, wage will increase dependant on progress, commitment, and desire to do well = starting at; £10 per hour (over 25's), starting at; £9.25 per hour (21-24years), starting at; £7.25 per hour (18-20years), starting at; £5.35 per hour (16-17years) - Paid monthly.
Weekday shifts will be afternoon-evening based (1.30-8pm sometimes this may slide earlier/later by 30 minutes; weekdays approx), Saturday shifts will be typically; 8.15-4.15pm). The hours stated are approximate timings and may slightly change according to the needs of the business
Candidates will not be required to start work before 1pm during the week, Candidates will be required to work Saturdays, please do not apply if you would prefer not to work these hours.
