- improving manual handling processes with the use of lifting equipment Review and improve current picking & packing processes for production & aftermarket customers Following on from the above, the Student would then share best practice with other sites in the Cummins network.
Continuous Improvement / Operations Excellence projects within the facility.
Play a pivotal role in the implementation of UK Cummins sites into the UK Logistics Centre Participate in requirements gathering sessions, data analysis and presenting findings to the leadership team.
UKLC specific ergonomics project focusing on the 15kg weight limit of picking parts.
Focusing on current picking processes across the site, and looking to improve where possible.
Following on from the above, the Student would then share best practice with other sites in the Cummins network.
Continuous Improvement / Operations Excellence type projects within the facility Play a pivotal role in the implementation of Darlington into the UKLC.
Participate in requirements gathering sessions, data analysis and presenting findings to the leadership team.
