We are recruiting a GCSE Business Studies Teacher for a vibrant 11-16 academy school in Rochdale. The ideal Teacher can also teach KS3 Computing. This position is due to start as soon as possible, for two terms.

This is a new academy school that has excellent facilities and a supportive leadership team. This is an exciting school to work in as they are always at the forefront of trying new initiatives.

Business Studies Department

Pupils

* Years 7- 11.

* A range of abilities, including SEN.

* Some low-level challenging behaviour.

* Behaviour is improving under a dedicated behaviour team.

Role of the Business Studies Teacher

* Starting ASAP.

* Temporary position, could extend to a permanent post.

* Teaching GCSE/KS4 Business Studies.

* Teaching KS3 Computer Science as a second subject would be an advantage.

Ideal Business Studies Teacher

* Good at building relationships.

* Engaging and interactive.

* Patient with a range of approaches to teaching.

* Previous experience of teaching GCSE/KS4 Business Studies at secondary level is essential.
