We have a fantastic opportunity for an HR Advisor to join our high performing and friendly HR department. Based in our city central Bristol offices, this is a great opportunity to deliver a generalist and commercially focused HR service to the business.
The successful candidate will own a caseload, providing specialist advice to all levels of management in Employee Relations matters, which will include Performance Management, Absence Management, Disciplinary, Grievance, Welfare and Flexible Working. You will also support the development of HR guidelines and procedures, ensuring they are in line with current employment legislation and best practice.
In addition, your key responsibilities will include:
* Mitigating any people management related risks, and supporting managers in becoming effective leaders by guiding, coaching and upskilling them on HR policies, processes and procedures.
* Working with the HR Centre of Expertise to identify, and where appropriate, implement relevant HR process improvements, enhancing the service offered to managers and employees.
Working with managers to ensure best practice HR solutions are followed and implemented, challenging as appropriate where this is not the case and escalating any risk issues through the HR Business Partner(s) as required
About You
We are keen to hear from candidates with demonstrable HR advisory experience, with a thorough understanding of HR processes and procedures and the ability to advise and influence at all levels of the management hierarchy. It is essential that have a high level understanding of employment law and case management experience, and the ability to work on own initiative making decisions to HR matters where required.
In addition, the ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for delivering the highest possible standards of service to managers and employees, as well as good time management principles, with the ability to prioritise and balance competing workloads effectively.
