The Jaguar XJS was aimed at the GT market when it arrived back in 1975 and was never designed to be an E-type replacement or race car. Despite the factories intentions, other companies began to offer suspension mods, body styling and tuning upgrades but it was the reborn LISTER brand who eventually offered the more outrageous XJS upgrades. First under BLE and then under the LISTER banner. A LISTER XJS could be whatever specification the customer wanted, from a breathed on 5.3ltr V12 with 300+bhp and 400+ nm of torque, to a 7.0ltr V12 and 500+ bhp. Body styling varied from just the LISTER body kit to a full blown, 7.0ltr - fire breathing, wide bodied monster. Offered here is an uprated 5.3litre V12, which has the full body kit + wide body upgrades, in a fully restored 1989 convertible, with a 5 speed GETRAG manual transmission. The motorcar is in outstanding condition having covered around 3000 miles since its full restoration in 2014/2015. It has benefited from all new and upgraded front and rear brakes, in late 2022 (new competition discs, callipers, pads) and is equipped with big bore stainless steel air intakes + K&N type cone filters, big bore stainless exhaust system, Getrag manual transmission, digital speedometer, refurbished 17 x 8 OZ alloy wheels, Spax adjustable shocks, Jaguar Sport boot spoiler, new power roof and headlining, new Jaguar Sport steering wheel, new leather interior and new carpets. Terms and Conditions: due to people having busy life's ,, we offer a service where by , if a car is delivered and purchased unseen . then the customer is eligible to send the vehicle back with the delivery driver on his gurney back to us . on the same flat bed lorry , a refund for the car will be issued but unfortunately the transport will have to be charged for on both trips .
