We are recruiting for a detail orientated Bookkeeper to join a family run and rapidly growing independent accountancy practice based in Lymm.

Joining a team of 4 and reporting into the director, you will be working closely with a wide range of clients across various industries and providing financial support to the wider team and guidance. This is an excellent opportunity for a Bookkeeper who is looking for greater exposure as you will be working side by side with the director and there is a clear path to progression.

Your day-to-day duties as the Bookkeeper will be varied and will include:

Reconcile banks and the other main nominal accounts quickly and accurately, through to preparing quality management accounts for your portfolio of clients
Prepare VAT returns
Managing multiple clients, often to tight deadlines as well as working in an open plan office
To be successful in your application for the Bookkeeper position, you will have worked in a practice environment for at least 2 years in a similar role, will have excellent attention to detail and have a solid understanding of financial regulations and compliance. You will be proficient in using Microsoft Excel and knowledge of Quickbooks would be advantageous.
