Responsabilities:
- Deliver engaging and interactive science lessons to students, fostering a passion for the subject and promoting critical thinking.
- Plan, prepare, and implement effective teaching strategies that cater to the diverse learning styles and abilities of students.
- Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that facilitates learning and supports student progress.
- Assess and evaluate student performance regularly, providing constructive feedback and guidance to facilitate improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the science curriculum, ensuring alignment with educational standards and objectives.
- Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school events to maintain effective communication with students, parents, and the wider school community.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Prior experience teaching science at the secondary level, preferably within the UK education system.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to accommodate students with varying abilities and learning styles.
