Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Site Manager to join our team. The Site Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all on-site construction activities, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating tasks, managing personnel, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety on the construction site.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee all aspects of on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and budget constraints.
* Coordinate and manage construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, providing clear direction and guidance.
* Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment and compliance with safety regulations.
* Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or delays.
* Manage and maintain construction equipment and machinery to ensure efficient operations.
* Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to guarantee the highest standard of workmanship.
* Collaborate with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and clients, to ensure project requirements are met.
* Resolve any on-site problems, discrepancies, or disputes promptly and efficiently.
* Manage project documentation, including daily reports, change orders, and other project-related paperwork.
* Procure necessary materials and equipment, monitoring inventory levels and ensuring timely deliveries.
* Prepare and present regular status reports to senior management.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Site Manager ideally within a prison setting
* In-depth knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
* Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
* Proficiency in project management software and tools.
* Ability to make decisions quickly and efficiently.
* Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
* Excellent time management skills.
* Knowledge of budgeting, financial management, and cost control.
* CSCS & SMSTS required
