Position Summary:
As an After-Hours Operations Coordinator, your primary responsibility is to ensure the efficient management of out-of-hours queries and job delegation. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and updating in-house systems and databases, as well as facilitating communication with Industrial, Commercial, and Domestic customers to support the delivery of planned and reactive work outside of regular business hours.
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Efficient Systems Management:** Manage and oversee the functionality of in-house systems and databases, including Weighsoft, CTrack, Ortec, and AAIR, to ensure smooth operations during non-standard business hours.
2. **Customer Liaison:** Act as a point of contact for Industrial, Commercial, and Domestic customers, assisting them with their needs and coordinating the execution of planned and reactive work beyond regular business hours.
3. **Telephone Enquiries:** Handle general telephone inquiries from both customers and employees during out-of-hours periods, providing timely and helpful information or directing them to the appropriate resources.
4. **Documentation and Record Keeping:** Ensure that all job-related activities are accurately documented and that systems are updated to provide a seamless transition for the day shift team.
5. **Flexibility:** Maintain a flexible approach to your work and be willing to take on ad-hoc duties as necessary to support the overall efficiency of the department.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in managing and navigating various software systems, including Weighsoft, CTrack, Ortec, and AAIR (or similar systems).
- Ability to work independently and make effective decisions during out-of-hours periods.
- Adaptability and willingness to embrace changing work demands.
- Prior experience in a similar role or industry is a plus.
