Humanities Teacher!

About the Role:

As a KS3 Humanities Teacher, you'll play a vital role in shaping the minds of secondary aged students as they explore the fascinating realms of history, geography, and more. Your responsibilities will include teaching KS3 humanities classes and providing general cover lessons across various subjects. This position offers an excellent opportunity to engage with a diverse range of topics and students, fostering a love for learning that extends beyond the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver inspiring and interactive lessons in humanities subjects to KS3 students
Provide engaging cover lessons across a variety of subjects, ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of regular teachers
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and encouraged to succeed
Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching resources and strategies
Support the academic and personal development of students, nurturing their curiosity and critical thinking skills Duration:

This rewarding position starts after Easter and continues until the end of the academic year, offering you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the educational journey of students during this crucial period. This is a full time position teaching KS3 Humanities but also covering General Cover lessons to make this a full time role.

Qualifications required as a Humanities Teacher:

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification
Experience teaching Humanities at KS3
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for exploring Humanities
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
