My client who is in the Oil and Gas industry are currently looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer.

The role will be based in Malton, North Yorkshire but there might be some occasional travel to clients offices in the UK or worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertake all aspects of product design and development.

Preparation of project engineering documents schedules and forecasts.

Coordination and checking of engineering deliverables.

Regular project status reports and change orders.

Regular contact with project clients.

Budget monitoring.

Contributing to the development of the RMSpumptools Brand.

Provide support to other departments as and when required.

Adhere to ISO 9001 drawing office practises.

Participation in the preparation of project quotations and technical proposals.

Skills & Experience:

Engineering experience in a similar environment

3D CAD Modelling experience using Autodesk Inventor or similar software

Mechanical Engineering degree and/ or HND/HNC with relevant experience

Experience in using the MS Programs (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)

Fibre Optic knowledge and experience (Desirable)

Knowledge of basic electrical principles (Desirable)

Strong communication skills

Self-motivated and proactive attitude, willing to learn and excel skills
