Flagship Store Manager | Retail | Bristol | Up to £44,000 plus guaranteed Bonus and Commission
'Store manager' may be the technical job description for this role, but it doesn't really come close as a summary of what's involved.
First, there's the store, which is so much more than a retail space. It's a flagship space, a showcase space, a place for you to take a hands on approach and make this space your own.
As for the 'manager' part of the role, our client is looking for someone who can do far more than 'manage'. This is a flagship store and the spotlight will be firmly on you and the store's performance. You'll lead a team built to share the excitement of our client's vision.
About you:
You've already got experience as a store manager and now you're ready to perform that role under the brightest of spotlights. Our client has big plans for this store model, which means the eyes of the organisation will be on it. You'll thrive under that pressure. You'll relish the chance to apply your ideas and feel comfortable engaging in the board level discussions that will stem from this role. You'll be tech savvy, but what really matters is your infectious enthusiasm for letting everyone share in the possibilities tech offers.
In addition to the above, key responsibilities include:
Developing colleagues: Our client expects you to make a success of this role and move upwards, which means you'll need to be focused on developing a team to succeed you
Customer focus: This may be a store, but the focus is really about encouraging customers to explore services rather than simply buy devices. You'll know how to connect our client's offering with your customers' needs to create events and experiences that excite them
Liaising with senior leaders: You'll have lots of engagement from the heads of the business, so you'll need to have the confidence to network at that levelRole requirements of the Store Manager:
You are/have:
Experience in a high-profile flagship store or area manager experience.
Strong commercial focus with the ability to make sound decisions based on data analysis
An inspirational communicator and a great coach
A 'can-do' attitude - advocating and championing change
Strong, hands-on work ethic, willing to get involved to support your people
An ability to build excellent relationships with teams and customers
