Cover Supervisor Job Description:

Manage a classroom of mainstream secondary students
Implement effective behaviour management strategies
Cultivate a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a sense of value, respect, and motivation for all students
Maintain transparent communication by regularly providing feedback to students, parents, and colleagues, fostering a collaborative approach to education
Experience with interventions for behaviour and SEND as around 20% of pupils have additional learning needs (ALN)
The Ideal Cover Supervisor:

Demonstrate a track record of successful experience working with primary-aged students with behavioural needs, showcasing your ability to meet the unique challenges of this group
Hold a recent and clear Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check on the update service or show the willingness to complete
Embody patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for making a meaningful impact in the lives of students, particularly those with diverse behavioural needs
