Customer Service Executive - Full Time, Permanent
Salary: £22k-£25k Per Annum (DOE)

Our client based in Burgess Hill is seeking a Customer Service Executive to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of customer service for the business, such as responding to email enquiries, checking customer accounts, and taking payments over the phone.
Duties:
Responding to customer enquiries and/ or complaints via telephone and email
Liaising with different departments to ensure an understanding of current situations, processes and required actions to ensure a timely and appropriate outcome for both client and business
Preparing and checking invoices and other financial paperwork
Chasing payments from customers using defined processes
Trouble shooting for processes to ensure near misses are identified and appropriate action to amend is taken in a timely manner
Updating customers with service status as necessary throughout the post-sales process
Providing ad-hoc administrative duties to ensure the smooth running of the company
Liaising with accounts, sales and laboratory to ensure smooth, timely and accurate provision of information to clients
Provision of testing results to clients and high quality and timely customer service by phone and email at all times
Report generating using different IT systems
Sales administration as and when required
Supporting the Finance function as required
Requirements:
Education: A-Level or equivalent
2 year's experience in a customer service position
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
High attention to detail
Numerate and literate
Competent in use of Excel and Word
Strong administration experience and use of office equipment for example scanning and printing
Able to work to consistently high standards to the standards prescribed by internal operating procedures
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm
