Jackson Hogg are delighted to be partnering with a Global Engineering business in Aberdeen who are looking to strengthen their existing team with the appointment of a Lead Electrical Engineer. This role will play an important part of innovation through the energy transistion.

You will lead with technical expertise along with the team on conducting the design, calculation, specification and requisiton of electrical equipment and comprehensive analysis of electrical design to ensure inherently safe systems.

Job Description

* To be the lead engineering authority within the team

* Develop the specification, design and documentation of systes and components, electrical schemativs and wiring diagrams

* Applying relevant industry standards e.g API, DNV, ATEX, ABS

* CAD proficient to produce electrical drawings

* Providing material costing information for project quotes

* Carryong out electrical interface design including cable schedules, termination details and cable layout diagrams

* Creating instrumentation on selection loop diagrams, PLC / SCADA I/O list, instrumentation on index, logic diagrams and panel design.

* Technical report writing.

Key Skills

* Degree Qualified

* Oil and Gas Industry experience

* Experience in overseeing fast-delivery projects from concept to completion

* Significant expertise through a track record of successful execution of Engineering Projects

* Working to Senior or Lead Engineer level currently

* Have the drive and motivation for improving project execution and the development of other engineers
