A market leading organisation developing analytical instruments based near Biggleswade, Bedfordshire are looking for an Electronics Design Engineer. The role will also involve some analogue and digital design. The successful engineer will be working on the development of complex products and developing bespoke solutions when required.

This is an exciting opportunity for an Electronics Design Engineer to join a company that are renowned in their industry and take on the most technically challenging design projects.

Key responsibilities of the Electronics Design Engineer job:

R&D - designing and developing new products (analogue and digital electronic design)
Detailed design of complex, multi-layer PCBs (up to 8 layers)
Designing bespoke requirements around the core product platform
Testing of equipment to ensure conformity to European standards, CE marking
Knowledge of embedded software would be advantageous
Any familiarity with stepper motor drives, the semiconductor industry or precision instrumentation would be very beneficial
