We are representing a leading property and housing organisation in Leighton Buzzard, they are known across the UK for their employee focused approach with market leading training programs and supportive management.

They are looking for someone with a background in transactional finance (Ideally studying AAT) to train and mold into expert service charge accountants.

Description

Assistant Accountant Duties:

Service Charge Accounting: Assist in the preparation and management of service charge accounts.
Financial Reporting: Contribute to the preparation of financial reports and statements.
Support Finance Team: Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of the finance function.
Data Analysis: Analyze financial data and reports to identify trends and discrepancies.
You are able to utilise your accounting knowledge and your high attention to detail with double entry bookkeeping and the accuracy that accompanies it.

You will use your good communication skills to see and challenge information, ensuring a smooth accounting process for the wider team. You are able to use your initiative in problem solving. Computer literacy (particularly Excel) is essential

Previous experience in a transactional finance role is advantageous.
An eagerness to transition into service charge accounting.
