We are currently looking for a Senior Logistics Accounts Administrator to join our friendly Logistics Services team at our Head Office in Solihull. Please note this will be a maternity cover role.

Main ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will report directly to the Business Accountant. They will be responsible for: Maintaining integrity of Haulier accounts Managing the debt recovery process with the transport teams to ensure the timely collection of cash from Haulier Ensuring that debt outstanding is not past due and that the balances are within the agreed timeframes and recovery processes are following in line with business policies and contractual agreements Reviewing Haulier earnings against cost and take appropriate action to recover negative earnings in line with the Contractual Agreement Working closely with the Transport Teams and working collaboratively to resolve account queries Supporting the team leader with new initiatives and to develop and to maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders, internal and external and to exceed their expectations To maintain the highest customer service behaviours at all timesThe Ideal CandidateThis is a varied, complex and rewarding position that is responsible for the day-to-day Contract Haulier account administration and to manage the accounts in line with rules of Business, Finance, Tax and Supply Chain. The successful candidate will be expected to have: Skills/Knowledge: Ideally a transactional Financial background Working towards AAT would be advantageous Excellent customer service skills when liaising with stakeholders internally and externally to the business Flexibility and Drive Ability to identify and support process improvement Strong organisational and communication skills Strong attention to detail Ability to work in a pressurised environment IT skillsWhy TarmacIn addition, we offer an extensive range of career development opportunities and industry-leading rewards, incentives and benefits.
