Our client are a global supplier of high quality, components and systems for the aerospace and defense industry. They are looking for an IT Support Analyst to join their site in Redditch, Worcestershire.
The primary function of the IT Support Analyst is to provide end user support, support device lifecycle management, and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures. Customers will be both local and remote and this position will require some travel to nearby sites.
Key responsibilities of the IT Support Analyst job:
* Deployment, configuration, and support of hardware (PC, laptop, mobile, printing, etc.), client operating systems, and productivity software for end users.
* Participate in application, infrastructure, security and operational excellence initiatives
* Assist with support of site-based IT systems.
* Participate in trouble-shooting, resolution of larger IT issues, root cause analysis and problem management as needed.
Key skills / experience required for the IT Support Analyst job:
* Previous experience in an IT Support function
* Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is desirable but not required
* Driver's license
