Commissioning Manager / Registered Home Manager Nursing Home

£70,000 - £75,000 per annum + Bonus + Car allowance

Job Overview

Florin Healthcare are excited to be working with an award winning, specialist nursing, care provider to find a new Commissioning Manager for one of their brand-new large bedded service due open in spring 2024. With the support of the Group Commissioning Director, you will be responsible for the full cycle of commissioning this new state of the art, flag ship service, including, but not limited to;

* Filling beds and maintaining a high level of occupancy whilst ensuring all current and newly referred individuals are properly assessed and that high quality, person-centred support is provided throughout.

* Developing your own team

* Building relationships with local authority, stake holders, CCG's etc

* Building reputations

* Sourcing local suppliers

* Ensure that services are of a standard which meet and exceed standards set by regulatory bodies, including the CQC Standards, NICE guidelines, NMC standards and other contractual obligations.

Candidate Requirements

It is very important to the provider that you are an advocate for their ethos and values and are a fundamental contributor to their vision.

* To be successful in this position, you must currently be a Registered Manager in the care industry and have solid knowledge of CQC regulations and guidelines.

* You should also have experience working withing elderly cares services that have nursing care within them and be comfortable working with clinical professionals.

* As the potential Manager it is also vital that you have excellent communication skills to be able to communicate with various stakeholders within the business

* *Nurse qualified not essential, but must have experience managing a clinical service*

* Managed large sized care homes or covered a portfolio of homes.

* Have commissioned or been part of a commissioning team to open new services.

* Must have experience with dementia care and complex mental health

Salary

£70,000 per annum + Benefits + Bonus + Car allowance

Location

This role is based in Somerset. Easily commutable via car and would be preferable to drive
