RR2 SQL Developer

Location: Remote (Yorkshire)

Salary: £38,000 + Additional earnings of between £5,000 - £7,000 per annum

Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking an SQL Developer on behalf of one of our clients who are a UK leading company nationally in providing full service email marketing.

The successful candidate will be responsible for playing a pivotal role in the design, development, and maintenance of software and database systems used to process data and the surrounding ecosystems.

My Client are particularly keen to offer opportunities to candidates with a military background however all qualified applicants will be considered equally.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The development and implementation of the company's software, database and data development and maintenance strategy. This includes developing, maintaining and policing coding standards
The design, development, and maintenance of software and database systems used to process data and the surrounding ecosystems.
Oversee the development of new software and database systems, ensuring that they are designed to meet business requirements and standards.
Ensure the timely delivery and maintenance of high-quality software, database and data processing systems.
Conduct research on new software and database technologies, and recommend solutions to meet changing business needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of software, database and data processing systems into the overall business architecture.
Manage budgets and timelines to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Serve as the primary point of contact for data analysts and technical staff for resolving complex problems and issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to software, databases, and other technical systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues that may impact the business.
Mentor and train data analysts and technical staff on new systems, tools, and technologies.
Manage and prioritise cases, ensuring that all issues are resolved in a timely manner
