Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one support to the student with ASD, assisting them with academic tasks, social interactions, and personal care as required.
Implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies to support the student's learning and development.
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment, promoting the student's independence, self-esteem, and well-being.
Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to monitor the student's progress and adapt support strategies accordingly.
Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding the student's progress and any concerns.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience working with students with ASD or other special educational needs is highly desirable.
Relevant qualifications in SEN support or education are advantageous but not essential enthusiasm, empathy, and a willingness to learn are key!
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, parents, and external professionals.
Patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting the unique needs of students with SEN.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
