Position: Full-Time Teaching Assistant

Location: Chesterfield, Derbyshire

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of primary-aged children facing educational challenges? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our inclusion unit in Chesterfield. This role involves working with a small class of primary-aged children who have been excluded from mainstream education due to challenging behaviour and emotional, social difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide support to a small class of primary-aged children in either KS1 or KS2.
Assist in implementing strategies to manage challenging behaviour and promote positive social interactions.
Support all aspects of the primary curriculum, fostering a love for learning in each child.
Collaborate with the teaching team to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.Requirements:

Previous experience working with children with challenging behaviour and emotional, social difficulties.
A calm and nurturing nature to effectively support the unique needs of each child.
Passion for inclusive education and commitment to making a difference in the lives of students.
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators.Qualifications:

While a Teaching Assistant qualification is not mandatory, relevant experience in a similar role is highly valued.Benefits:
