Electrician
Our client is a well-regarded and highly skilled engineering service provider in the water industry. Covering Kent and Hampshire they provide optimisation services and robust engineering solutions, with a varied portfolio across both waste and clean water. This is a great opportunity for a site-based electrician to join a growing innovative business.
As an Electrician, you will be part of the mobile site team, travelling to clients sites to carry out electrical installations and testing work. As well as onsite projects as required. Joining as an Electrician you will be a valued member of the business.
Your responsibilities as an Electrician will include:
* Carry out electrical installation
* Carry our refurbishment works
* Ensure compliance with BS7671 requirements as well as company and client-specific standards
* Work on clients' sites including sewage as well as drinking water and ensure compliance with the necessary hygiene standards
* Inspect, survey, identify faults, carry out works and test electrical systems
* Compile reports to demonstrate installation and testing work has been carried out successfully accurately and timely.
* Utilise design drawings and manufacturers installation manuals to complete assigned projects.
* Specify the parts / equipment / materials needed
* Complete survey reports for quotation purposes
* Adhere to risk assessments and method statements
* Complete the required paperwork for each project
* Work on multiple projects simultaneously if required
* To work as part of a team and to cooperate with other staff/trades
* Ensure compliance with the Companys policies, procedures and work instructions
* Willing to work at heights and in confined spaces in industrial environments.
* Work on client sites across the region willing to work away from home and overnight during the week when required
The requirements:
* Full clean UK driving licence
* Minimum 2 years related electrical installation and testing experience
* 17/ 18th Edition
* ECS Gold card
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Punctual and reliable
* PC Literate and good communication skills
