BRIDGING & DEVELOPMENT UNDERWRITER - NORTH WEST

To be considered for this position, you need to be a skilled underwriter in bridging finance with a minimum of 12 months of experience.

Our client offers first and second charge bridging loans secured against residential, semi-commercial, and commercial properties, providing short-term lending.

* Salary ranging from £42,000 to £50,000 depending on experience

Responsibilities:
* Evaluate loan applications, conduct thorough risk assessments, and make informed decisions based on financial analysis.
* Perform comprehensive due diligence on borrowers, collateral, and property values to ensure accurate risk evaluation.
* Ensure all underwriting activities align with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
* Work closely with the sales and origination teams to structure deals that meet both client and company objectives.
* Maintain clear and effective communication with internal stakeholders.
* Support brokers and clients throughout the underwriting process.
* Respond to initial inquiries within the specified SLA timescales.
