Salary: OTE £30,000 per year
Holidays: 33 days including Bank Holidays plus day off for birthday
Hours: Monday - Friday 9.00 am - 5.00 pm

The role is office based and primarily involves the production of technical project specification proposals, site reports, test reports and supplementary calculations (to support specification proposals and reports), as well as providing technical support and advice to internal sales staff and external customers.

In addition, there is a requirement to work alongside the technical team in the development and improvement of products and systems. This requires practical testing and trials alongside experienced installation staff. The Product Coordinator will be responsible for collating written information along with photographic and occasional video recordings and to administer this information, communicating with others within the business to ensure all product information, data sheets and the like are kept up to date, valid, accurate and accessible.

Full training within the role, along with support will be given.

Responsibilities:

* Produce project specification proposals, test reports, site visit reports, with supplementary calculations and details.

* Provide technical support to direct customers, clients and internal team members.

* Carry out the recording of information from internal product testing and trials and to ensure this is effectively and accurately communicated and filed in a timely manner as required.

* Ensure all information on products, systems and testing is logically stored, up to date, accurate and accessible within the Technical Department and, via liaison with other departments to assist in the upkeep and revision of product information.

* Project specification proposals.

* Test reports.

* Supplementary calculations including U Value, Condensation Risk Analysis and wind uplift.

* Assist in practical testing and demonstrations in order to develop and improve products and systems.

* Directly liaise with the Marketing Department in regard of specific product information / product requirements / product launches and marketing campaigns.

* Assist in the development of technical team systems.

* Focus on customer service, technical excellence and risk minimisation.

* Deliver and participate in training and other learning activities and performance development as required.

Candidate Requirements:

* GCSE/O Level English, Maths and Science (Chemistry, Physics) / Combined Science Grade C/4 essential

* Construction based qualification / experience or material product testing / qualification / experience

* Proven experience in a technical role

* Proven experience of writing technical specifications

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Confident telephone manner

* Good IT skills including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel

* Good organisational and prioritising skills
