Multi Skilled Carpenter

£42000 - £43000 per annum

My client are a leading FM contractor that provide maintenance and refurbishment on social housing contracts throughout Manchester.
We are currently looking add an experienced Multi Skilled Carpenter / Joiner to our team based in Crumpsall, Manchester.

In your new role as a Multi-Skilled Carpenter you will be carrying out day-to-day repairs in social housing properties in Crumpsall, Manchester.

You will be working to deliver the highest quality service to carry out a variety of carpentry tasks. Working efficiently and safety in line with best practice to achieve an excellent customer experience.

Other duties of Multi Skilled Carpenter will include:

* Reactive and planned carpentry repairs within domestic properties
* 1st and 2nd fix
* Repair & refurbishments
* Multi-trade works where required (basic plumbing, painting, plastering etc.)
* Working on a mobile basis using a company vehicle (or your own which will be fully expensed)

Required skills for Multi Skilled Carpenter:

You will need relevant experience in working as a carpenter to carry out day-to-day repairs in carpentry/joinery and general maintenance within social housing properties.

* Full UK driving licence
* NVQ2+ in Carpentry & Joinery OR time served with relevant experience
* Multi-trade experience (at least at a basic level)

Re numeration of Multi Skilled Carpenter:

* Over £22 per hour (Circa £43000 per annum)
* Company van and fuel card provided (or expenses account for use of own vehicle)
* 32 days annual leave
