An organisation who I am currently working with are in search of a Contract Surveyor to join their company which will cover the Bristol area. SOR experience is essential for this role as well as experience in social housing due to the contracts they are currently working on. You will mainly be covering Voids and Responsive Surveying so a good understanding of both of these areas will be needed. They are offering a lucrative package with a salary of £36k-£40k + a £4.5k car allowance and a company car.

The salary for this role is £40,500 - £44,500 (Inc. £4,500 car allowance).

Skills needed in this Contract Surveyor role:

Commitment to continuous improvement within the workplace
Be proactive when dealing with issues and try and find solutions
In depth knowledge of repairs and maintenance costing frameworks (such as NHF SOR)
Good communication skills
Trade qualification to demonstrate technical competency and understanding, HNC/Degree/or equivalent
Hands on knowledge of job management systems
Responsibilities of the Contract Surveyor role:

Responsible for managing incoming works and surveying enquiries from our client as well as any variations
Working alongside the client in the approval process for quotations and contract profit margins
Ensure that any variations are added to work orders whilst works are still in progress
Collation and submission of client payment applications in a timely manner
Analyse operational and commercial data to help the wider team make informed and strategic decisions
Assess whether incoming works should be completed by inhouse team or subcontracted
